Richard and Teresa Brander are the owners of Brander Enterprises, Inc. which includes three fair food concession stands Texas Donuts, Texas Mini Donuts, and Brander’s Candy Land.  Their Texas Donut stand is famous for it’s giant raised donuts made fresh throughout the day.  Their most popular donuts are the Big “D” glazed donut and their customers go HOG WILD for the Maple Bacon Texas Donut.  It’s a combination of sweet and salty that melts in your mouth with every bite.  They also feature other varieties of yummy giant donuts including the Jelly Belly, Creamy Critter, Chocolate Charlie, Texas Twisters, a Cinnamon Wagon Wheel and Funnel Cakes.  The Texas Donut stand is located in the Plaza de Mexico at the San Diego County Fair and can also be found at the Orange County Fair in Costa Mesa, the Los Angeles County Fair, the Riverside County Fair, the National Date Festival in Indio, the California MidWinter Fair in Imperial and the Arizona State Fair in Phoenix, Arizona.
